Hey guys, looking for a new vehicle, something along the lines of this with a manual would be perfect! if you guys can keep your eyes open that would be awesome!

Just throwing this out there Ben, but one of these could make a nice alternative... 300HP/300TQ stock, 6-speed, around the same price, and there's a decent amount of aftermarket stuff out there for them.

Not sure... but that's VW/Audi for you haha. And yes they are! Nobody expects a fast Volvo, so they make good sleepers haha

The volvo's have the haldex AWD compared to the Quattro. So there is a slight difference but the haldex still performs extremely well in the winters i have experienced

B7 Avants were available with the manual transmission. Although they are exceptionally difficult to find in good shape. I've never seen a B8 Avant with a manual.

The V70R's are really nice but you pay a pretty penny to maintain them as they get long in the tooth. Replacing the active struts alone made me shy away from buying one.

In my experience with Volvos (we've owned four in the last 14 years, two of them for over 9 years), maintenance costs are pretty much on par with any other European car. As for the suspension, replace with coilovers and call it a day haha.
