LF: Cargo Box for Snowboards

As the title states, I'm looking for a cargo box (either Thule or Yakima) that can fit at least 4 snowboards.

I borrowed Danny's cargo box and I need one now:



It would be nice if the height can fit carry-on luggage but not a deal-breaker.

Look for a Thule Atlantis 1800 - I have been using my buddies and its awesome, fit 4 snowboards, pair of skis, all the boots, few bags. it was impressive. Hard to find used though. GL!

yeah there arent many used ones on sale i've been searching for a month now! amazon.com has good deals but gotta go pick them up at the boarder..the savings are in the $100s though. Don I'm looking at a used one in Banff on sat, wish me luck!

Good luck! $100 savings isn't much considering the drive and gas.

i have a Thule laying around.. never use it because i have attachments for my boards, not sure what they're going for but pm me and we can chat, shitty piicture but you can get an idea for its size.

That's why I go with a couple people - split the gas and usually buy enough to justify the savings.

Gheron's box looks good though

Don't cheap out, on an old one. I had a 'hand-me-down', that i used for 1/2 a season. It blew apart near Lac des Arcs.

I have an Atlantis 1200. I didn't want a huge box but it fits 4 snowboards and definitely fits carry on luggage.

We bought the budget friendly Rhino Rack for our allroad, it is lower profile than most other boxes, wider and easily fits 4 adults boards and a kids board too. We ended up picking it up new for around $600 in piano black finish, which is considerably less than a similar modeled Thule or Yakima, in fact 1/2 as much
