Well, oil pan number one down the drain. Would love to be on the market for a Hybrid pan, however currently just looking to see if anyone has one laying around, please send pm.
Agreed, I feel like such a newb - popped my "oil pan" cherry.
Usually I'm fairly good, however this one was unexpected...
Tell me about it, i was riding low the other day, completely flat road and hit my subframe so hard it jumped my car off the ground for a second, me and the gf were both on the lookout for raised sections and we even looked back and the road still appeared completely flat to us. We are still confused as I drive past it every day

that was just it, my roomate who own's and has owned many lowered vehicles didn't even see it, appeared completely flat. I didn't jump off the road, but I can only imagine how that one would feel! PS - your car looked great at the show, what's the purpose of that over-sized air filter? Never seen that done before...
I will probably have an oil drain available very soon. The large filter is because he is using a velocity stack. In theory better air flow = more power

Thanks,
Yeah it is because i'm using a velocity stack. The theory isn't just more airflow, its smoother airflow gives smoother throttle response and more airflow at higher rpms
