For some reason, since i put in the stubby antenna on the golf, my radio reception has gone to sh*t. I'm not sure the bad reception has come from installing my double din, but i dunno, anyways I'm looking for the stock long rc car antenna for a golf/jetta. thanks!

Re: Looking for Stock Mk4 Golf Antenna
The stubbies kill reception quite a bit. I have a Sharon replica and I think it is better than the aluminum stubby i had before but still less reception than OEM. The OEM one is long for good reason.Last edited by stefan; 08-27-2012, 08:08 PM.Stefan

Re: Looking for Stock Mk4 Golf Antenna
Oh, if your double din is aftermarket and you dig the AM, you need an antenna adapter that has the additional power lead on it. The OEM AM reception is amplified and the generic antenna adaptor doesn't handle the amplification.Stefan
