  • WTB: Wheel Spacers for MK4 Jetta

Looking to buy some spacers for my Jetta that is on 18in BBS RC's. Preferably 8-10mm in front and 15-20mm in back. I am worried about rubbing, although I am not that low (H&R sport cup kit suspension)

Yes I know "Needs more low" but for now I am happy

1 - You wont rub at all with those small a spacers so don't worry about it
2 - You most likely not rub at that height at all
3 - I enjoyed your picture of your 1 finger gap

Where did you come up with the figure 8-10mm for the front and 15-20 for the back per chance?

Did some research around vwortex and google. The picture below is 8mm front and 17.5mm rear which is basically what I am after.

I'm not trying to argue here but that honestly doesn't look like an 8mm spacer. Of course i could be wrong but with an 8mm spacer you are still sitting at et30 on a 7.5" wheel. And trust me, that does not sit flush. I have an et35 on a 8.5" wheels (which in all reality actually pokes 7mm more than yours will) and it is very tucked in.

I ran 10mm in the front of my GLI and 20mm in the rear with the RCs. I had a tiny bit of poke in the front and the rears were pretty much perfectly flush. You shouldn't have to worry about rubbing at that height either.

^yeah this probably looks the best. I had the rc's on for the first time today to go get an alignment and it sat really nice with the 10 and 20. Any more than that and you'll be tucking like mad. Any less and you won't get the look you desire.

Im running 8mm and 15 mm on my longbeaches. And it doesn't quite sit flush enough for my liking. Go with 10/20 and if its too much for you we can trade

Go check out Calgary Auto Works. They sell the ECS spacers for WAYYY cheaper than what you'll pay for the H&R spacers at Concept!

Called AutoWorks and they have 10mm ECS for 80 bucks and the 20mm for 100 bucks + 20 bolts @100 for grand total of ~$300. What do you guys think?
