Roger, you dont want a MKIV golf. Let me tell you some of the reasons why:
CEL is always on
resale is terrible
they really arent that nice
they breakdown all the time
They come with a factory lift kit
There are many more reasons for not owning one of these. I think you should just buy another B5 S4. I hear they are great cars. You'd really like it!!!

There is a 130km one for $8k on another forum.
I did see a rabbit early in the season same mileage and kms for same price once. Sold in a week.
