On these forums, you wont get many people who support halo's on a VW so if I were you, I would pounce on those posted above in the kijiji ad. That price is basically a steal!!!

Agreed, they pretty much only belong on BMW's IMO. E36 and later. Patryk, when did you pick up the 325is?

Only problem is 2006 would be a MK5 not a MK4 so those lights will not work.

Pretty sure 2006 golfs were mkiv, same with the jetta wagon.

I thought mk4 only went to 2004.5 - 2005. vortex lists MK4 up to 2005 and if you wikipedia MK5 it says 2003-2008. Came out earlier in Europe but is says Rabbits came in 06 to America so I guess they are labeled as a 2007? Looks like I have learned something new..

Anyways.... If you have stock headlights for a MK4 I would be willing to trade you for my headlights with halos and projectors also black not chrome like the ones in the kijiji link.

Post a pic, we'll tell ya. 06 Would be MK5 though I'm 99% sure, my dad's Jetta is a MK5 and it's an '06. But maybe Golf's/Rabbits were different?

hey guys, i am the "friend" that is hoping to pick up some new headlights. few corrections tho, my golf is actually a 2007, not a 2006. But it still a mkIV. Here are a couple pictures.

Glad I'm not the only one!

Seems like the 06+ GTI and Jetta have the MK5 body style but the Golf does not and has the MK4 body style.
