WTB: VW MKIV Coilovers

Hey I have a 2003 GTI VR6 24V, and im looking to purchase some coilovers.

Looking for something in the price range of 250-350 max.

Please do not reply if the struts are blown. Please reply if you have any for sale no matter the price though.

In that price range why don't you go with a set of ultimo's brand new? Will definitely last you longer than a used set in that price range

because ultimos would probably cost me roughly 550 or so. i can get coils at concept 1 for 500 (rebranded fk ak's with adjustable rear perches). I am a high school student and I owe money on my car to my grandma, so unless I can get something within that price range I am out of luck on going low.

FK will blow out on you guaranteed, save your money for a decent set of coilovers.

Sounds like you shouldn't be worried about lowering your car. Keep up on maintenance and pay it off first. Just my opinion

Well the price on ultimos is 399, then add shipping so I'm guessing around $500 or so. Even so they wll last far longer than a set of those low end FK streetlines. They blow sturts left right and center and their threads sieze up quickly in my experience. They are also super bouncey. I would highly recommend NOT buying FKs, especially used ones.
And as was mentioned above if you can only spend 350 on your car you should really save that for maintenance or when (not if) something breaks haha

for 300 you'll probably get some seized el-cheapo coils like ultimo's that's rusted out. save some money just wait it out.
