  • WTB mk4 DS door lock module

I am getting slightly annoyed with my door locking on my after i have opened the door and the interior lights not going on when i open the door. If anyone has one on a parts car it would be much appreciated.

Looks like the white box pictured with the latch and the black hanger that attaches to the door panel.

Have you tried the 3 dollar fix Sean? I did it on mine, hasn't had a problem since.

The cheap fix worked for me too. The fix part was easy. Getting the module out of the car was the hard part!

You could try Brent (Stonewall) for the part - he has a parts car, but may still need the doors to close for the time being....

I thought about it, i have taken the module out twice and it isn't that bad, i even opened everything up and checked every solder connection under a magnifying glass to figure out that it was the stupid 4th microswitch. Perhaps i will just go ahead and do it myself if brent doesn't have one.
