WTB: Mk4 2.0L Coilpack (URGENT)

Hey everyone, I`m helping a friend out with his 2.0L golf, I took a look at the car tonight and I think it is going to need a new coilpack. So I`m looking for a coil pack for an AEG 2.0L (2001 and older I believe). Let me know if anyone can help me out.

I know I had mine replaced under warranty on my 2002 Jetta 2.0L. Maybe give fifth ave a call.......

what kind of warranty is on that item? is it time/km sensitive or a recall item? I know the 1.8T and VR coils were recalled but I'm not sure if it covers 12v VR and 2.0L coil packs

I guess the 2.0L ones are prone to cracking, i had about 140,000k on mine.....

yea, not sure if he will be covered under a warranty but it is worth a try. Hopin someone would have a spare one around to get him going again
