I do, its almost used for less than 10 times (I gave a key to my GF) and she uses it only when she borrows my car.
Anyway, the key is in Vancouver and I'm leaving in early November to visit some friends, if you can hold that long, I'll be glad to sell you mine when I get that back.
How much are you willing to pay?
2000 BMW 323iA -- My current car
2000 VW Jetta GLS VR6 -- Sold

I have a few MK4 remotes lying around if anyone is interested....I use them to replace lost keys for customers...

I'm told that the new MK4 keys are not compatible with the first generation MK4 cars. I unfortunately don't have any expertise in this area. I asked a member of my service department awhile back and he said no, but I'd like a second opinion.
Does anyone know?

Sounds good. Will your local dealer do that for you? Find out first.
Secondly; "As long as you have a key another can be match-cut by your dealership in a matter of minutes."
This is not true. The keys come in from head office in Auburn Hills, Michigan. We are not even capable of cutting keys here...
Thirdly, the key that you have has to be cut at the base of the metal part, and then a very small hole needs to be drilled through the side at the base...that's something that I can't do...
When you find out all the info, e-mail me and we'll talk about the correct remote to send you.
Good luck!
