lol i dont mean to be disrespectfull or anything bud, but do you have something like a hard-on for that place? judging by the prices on most of the parts on their website i can tell they are wayy overpriced ...i could go to different wreckers in town (such as tunedub) but i am looking to spend as little as possible so only looking for a used private one someone has no need for and is only collecting dust, hence why i am asking here and asked for "let me know what you guys have" instead of "what place in town may have one?"

well i dont know. i never been to wreckers before so i dont know if they are expensive or not. you could always ask and find out. either way it will be cheaper then a dealer and more probable for you to get one at a place like that then finding someone that has one.

I have an air box from a 2001 jetta 1.8T Not sure if that will work for you or not.

I replaced my stock airbox in my 01 Jetta TDI with a 1.8T Neuspeed intake w/P-Flo filter. Have the old airbox minus the snowscreen sitting in my garage. Make me an offer. SCFC has new airboxes for $175.

I am selling my stock intake for $100 to offset the $220 cost for the Neuspeed intake.

BTW I think it really makes a difference. There is a distinctive growl at 1900-2200rpm. The stock one was suffocating the engine.

I got the Neuspeed one because the intakes that stick down beside the battery are a PITA to change out & clean. Also the Neuspeed one bolts right into the stock mounting points.

lol no offence guys but i feel sorry for anyone who would give you guys a cent above $30 for a used stock air box haha.thanks guys but no thanks

last time i checked people were pretty much giving these away, because realistically you will end up setting the box in the corner of your garage to collect dust up until one day (perhaps long after you sell your car) you stumble across it again and realize you have no need for it and end up throwing it away....instead of helping a fellow eurodrivers member out and getting at least some money for it :P

hand outs usually only come in the spring when guys are cleaning out the garage, if you're luck. And less than 30$ for a good condition part that doesn't really wear out and is worth 175$ new is pretty much a hand out, no?

Only ones on ebay seem to be in the UK. not so helpful.
