As the title states I think its time I picked one up as winters coming and Im likely only getting lower with the winter wheels. Excuse my ignorance though, this will protect basically right in the middle of the undercarriage correct? Ive scraped really really hard a few times in the last few weeks and even took a chuck of cement out of my ramp into my garage. Skidplate should solve this right? Anyways if you have one, that would be great!

Take a look at the pictures and you will see what it covers. These are also the ones that C1 sells. I also have one on my car and will be buying another for the wifes.
BTW a skidplate is not going to help you from taking out part of your ramp, it will save your car though.Last edited by Stonewall; 10-29-2007, 12:55 PM.Name: Brent

Re: WTB MK4 Skidplate
Seeing that a couple people want skid plates, is there group buy we could possibly do? Would C1 consider doing group buys?
If not, Satnam, how much is the club membership and once I get it, what's the cost or deal I would get from C1 to get the skid plate?Last edited by LEN; 11-03-2007, 09:50 AM.

Re: WTB MK4 Skidplate
Membership is $30 for the first year $20 for each after. I believe you get 5 or 10% off at C1 and with the club discount it is cheaper then any group buy I have seen.Name: Brent

Re: WTB MK4 Skidplate
I made mine. Cost me less than $5.00 (got the metal and some brackets to connect it to the chassis for free) all I had to buy was some fasteners. Took me about 1.5 hours total to bend the metal properly (Using a Nissan Pathfinder and some wood ) and mount it all up to the car.Last edited by forkdork; 11-04-2007, 09:46 PM.
