  • WTB: MAF sensor

Not sure how much success I'll have on here but thought I'd give it a try. Was looking to pick up a spare MAF for the VRT wondering if anyone can help me out.

It will be going in to a Kinetic aluminum MAF housing.

    Thanks!!

I'd like to get a wideband O2 as well but that is probably even less likely to find.

Man, I went through this when the maf in my mk3vr went. Next to impossible to find used, and the dealer wanted around $700. Brutal.

Seems as though you may be able to use a 2.0 sensor. Don't know which one though.

Out of all the VW's I've owned I've never dealt with a MAF before LOL. I don't really NEED one, was just hoping I could find one as a spare.

I have a spare 2.0 MAF. I think its from whatever 2.0 was in the MKIV.

Has to be from a mk3. Sensor can be from a 2.0 or VR6. only difference between the two is the size of the housing.

My friend replaced his 2.0 MAF sensor with one from a VR6.

Are you sure? Because if that is true that is very good news.
