I had a chip in my window and got it filled $25 I believe. The just suck the air out and put a type of epoxy in it . I had mine done through Crystal Glass would have spread right through my field of vision.

      Simply put, yes.

If you don't want to change your winshield evrey year do not buy cheap glass. Most lower cost glass is manufactured in Asia or Mexico. My brother has found quite a few Tarantula's! Cheaper glass is made with more sand and less silica(make the window stronger, but is more expensive). An oem windshield will be battred by the same amount of road junk, the difference how strong(impact force) the glass can take before cracking. Cheaper glass WILL crack faster then OEM simply b/c it is not a strong enough, as well oem glass is thicker and has a larger laminate layer. PPG is equal or better then OEM.

Call Dominion Auto Glass and talk to my cousin Craig(owner) or my brother Campbell, they will help you out. They will not be the cheapest but quality will hbe second to none. There accounts include ZR auto(F40 baby, sick ass car), Charles English...

      Cheers, Chris.

I would not be so sure my 96 jetta had OEM that just cracked this winter. And I had 3 PPG's that did not survived one season. Just today they installed for us two windshields plus the one in February in my Mk II Golf, we will see how long the three will last.
