  • FS: Nokia 8390 (no contract)

No contract, used on Rogers PCS network.

Comes with a Plantronics hands-free over-the-ear boom with answer button. The hands-free works only if the jack is in a certain position. The problem is in the hands-free unit, not the phone. The battery still holds a charge just fine (for about 4 days with moderate use).

Also comes with home charger, and English and French manuals. I'll also throw in a brand new PCS card (regularly $25).

This phone is $379 outright, and I paid $80 for the hands-free.

$65, ready to go with no plan.

No, you cannot use Rogers phones on Bell/Telus networks (or Vise versa) which is unfortunate because Rogers has some cool phones. The reason is that the technologies are completely different. Rogers uses/used TDMA (and I believe they are mostly GSM now) and Telus/Bell use CDMA technology. Technically if you were wanting to go between Telus/Bell you could as in some cases they even share (or did share) cell sites but I've been told that they have signed an agreement stating that they will not transfer to one another.

Wow, that was way longer than I was planning, but it's a VERY common question so I thought i'd shed some light.
