I'll check my comp when I get home. its socket 939 for sure, just can remember the cpu model. I think 3000+ is a step up though.Stefan

I just upgraded from one of these chips. I ran it for 3 years every day at 2.5ghz without a problem, very good chips.06 Subaru STi
