I am selling my mint condition 9853 apline deck. it plays mp3, tilt face, sub controll, glide touch bar, and many many options. I can get more info on the unit later this evening just wanted to put it out there in the mean time. It has only been used for 1 month, not scratches or any damage at all! extreamly powerfull deck! looks great too!

does not change colors, you can dim though. well maybe there not the same? i bought mine last month also and surround sound wanted 420 but i got it for just under 400. its in my civic and i just bought a golf and i like the system in it already.

Dealer cost on Alpine CDA9853 is $275.

well unless prices have dropped huge with in a month or 2, becuase i loooked all over at all the dealers and they were all around 400 and i manage to get it off the soundaround web site for just under 400.

Yes, retail is $429 on this piece. But I would be supprised if an authorized dealer sold for $260 when they pay in the ball park of $275. Paying $400 for this piece is not ridiculous...about 30 points mark-up which is about average for a piece like the Alpine 9853.

Damnit. I am a prick, I have the 9851. Same deck, minus the "Glide Bar." You're right, your price is totally fair. I apologize for the mistake.
