FS: Whistler 1490 Radar
$150 o.b.o. Anyone Interested?
Comes with straight/coiled cords, windshield mount, radar pouch, manual, etc. Just thought I'd post it up here first if anyone's in the market.
Solid radar. In fact, I haven't had a speeding ticket since... well, 1997. Actually, it even beat the Valentine1 when it was released. Check it out for yourself (Car and Driver, Jan. 1997).
Anyhow, just looking to pick up an 8500 if for nothing else but the "Blue" display. Trying to raise a little cash to swallow the $500 price tag!
