Ok, I have a brand new MK3 OEM head unit I picked up from ECS tuning. It is NOT the Clarion type that I believe started being used around 1995.5 (they all look the same, but early ones are made my Mastushita and later ones by Clarion.)
The radio/tape portion of this deck will work with any MK3 (that part worked in my 1998), but the changer controls will only work with the older type of changers, not the newer Clarion type.
I will try to return this to ECS because it is not the one I wanted, but if it will work for you, Its yours for 25$ (same as I paid for it last week, but no shipping!).
