What happened was this exhaust was ordered up, air shipped from Austria for an extra $125, and the person who ordered it tried doing so with a stolen credit card.
The police have been contacted, and hopefully this scumbag will get what's coming to him. In the meantime, I'm trying to get rid of this exhaust.
Remus Sport Exhaust with twin 90mm tips for BMW E30's. It's gorgeous. Has dual stock diameter piping (I think they're around 2 3/8" each) that connects to the resonator (I think - It might be catback though... The entire exhaust from the connection point to the tips is 75" / 1.9Meters long. All 1 peice)
Part # 087087-0506... Fits:
7/1985-'91 320i and 320ix (Limo, Touring)
12/1986-'91 320i and 320ix Cabrio's
11/1986-'91 325i and 325ix (Limo, Touring)
12/1988-'91 325i and 325ix Cabrio's
Brand New. Come backed w/ Remus' 3 year warranty and full semi-local performance shop accountability and tech support.
$899.99cdn Tax Included & Shipped! I'll also give anyone $20cash if they find a buyer for this, or just knock $20 off the price for anyone on here that buys it themselves.
MSRP on remuscanada.com is $1090cdn
Local shops sell for around $879.00cdn, but the damn things aren't readily available. These exhausts are nearly impossible to obtain. It is the only one available in N. America right now. Remus N.A. takes forever to ship stuff. Their next container shipment isn't due to arrive until next spring. They will airmail exhausts which takes 2 weeks, but it costs $125cdn. Basically, If you want a Remus exhaust for your E30 you either have to ante up the extra $125, or wait a min. of 6 months.
This is where the good deal comes in. This particular exhaust was airmailed in, so the true price of this exhaust (if you purchased regularly from a shop) should be $879 + $125 + taxes + shipping = $1105cdn. So you're saving $205, rather than just $70 as it may appear before you factor in the airmail shipping. And you don't have to wait weeks to receive it. I hope that all makes sense.
The whole situation sucks, but it's an opportunity for someone to receive top-level wholesale pricing from Remus N.America on this particular exhaust.
