Fs: 1984 Gti

US built GTI, dark grey exterior, blue interior, sunroof ( no leaks) tranny good, 237,XXX kms, roof rack and bike carrier, new battery. The body has the usual rust spots but not as bad as others around. It isn't running, could be something with the fuel distributor. I have to sell it, I don't need 2 cars and I've gotta move. $800.00 OBO

How's the floor? Any rust? I'd give you $800 if it was running but it's worth half that if it has fuel contamination. CIS were notorious for the fuel tank rusting out because of the filler neck rotting open and crap getting into the fuel system. I need a winter car and that would be perfect for me.

IMO this looks like a great deal, I looked for a long time for a rabbit and most were worse looking.

if it was running it would be a great deal......so many things can be wrong with it that you cannot check if it don't run.........my 2 cents.....
