Pinion bearing is noisey. The tranny came out of my brother's car. I'll post the codes tonight.

Here are the codes and ratios of the transaxles I have

9A, MK2 (8v Close Ratio) final drive 3.67 1st 3.45 2nd 2.12 3rd1.44 4th 1.13 5th 0.89

FN & FF MK1 final drive 3.89 1st 3.45 2nd1.94 3rd 1.29 4th 0.97 5th 0.76

My AUG has the same final, 1st,3rd,4th and 5th, the 2nd in your tranny is bit better. But since I only need it for one event is just not worth it.

If it was something like 4K or other close rato with 3.9 final then i would go for it.
