For Sale: 1997 VW Golf GL Turbo Diesel
The good
- low kms (168 kms...it's a diesel!)
- lady driven (and I CAN drive!)
- neat freak, non-smoker
- 5 speed manual
- 4 door
- Black body color
- VERY dark black tint (legal)
- Charcoal interior
- recent work on it includes muffler, serpentine belt, etc.
- all receipts for past 1-1/2 year of ownership
- bought it at 100 kms and did alot of work on it immediately.
The bad
- recently vandalized. B*($%()&% didn't get into vehicle, but got pissed and did some exterior damage.
- One headlight needs to be replaced, not just the lamp, the whole thing. Other headlight's crack isn't too bad...still not pretty.
- Side mirrors need to be replaced, not just the mirror, the whole thing.
- One taillight slightly cracked and could stand to be replaced.
You guys know where to get the best price on these parts, and here's the chance to get some custome ones.
The ugly
- rust along the back hatch door
- back wiper missing (It was missing when I bought it and never felt the need for it, doesn't bother me)
I love the car....sucks to have to sell it! I'm broke and need to pay
down some debts.
