  • Feeler: Carbonio CAI for 1.8t's

Simply put, the Carbonio CAI is the best CAI out there. The quality, fit, and finish is amazing. So why am I selling it. Well, I'm actually kinda getting tired of the noise that it makes. The CAI makes a whoosh (kinda like a BOV sound) which is super cool. Only I've had it for over a year and while I still kinda like it, my fiance is starting to hate it. I paid $410 plus 7% GST of $28.70 plus $20 shipping, total cost about $460. I am accepting any reasonable offer.

That said, the CAI is still installed in my car. If I can find a buyer with a reasonable offer, they can first hear it and see it in action in my car. That way there is no surprises when we uninstall the product.

p.s. I have never thrown a Check engine light or toasted an MAF with this unit (which is a really, really good thing)

        lsc2g,

Ya, it would have been great, but $325 is a great deal so no worries. Are you getting the 1 piece EVO CAI

          Yup its 1 piece.

ps. I'm Ryan the new guy from the last meet. Hope to see you all again may 8th.

Just wondering why are you parting out your car so much? Going for a smoother OEM euro look or gotta pay off those dentist school loans?

Ya, I'm just going for a more cleaner, low level car. I luv my car, but honestly, it's a total attention herder, a little more than I like.

As for the dental school loans, I would need a helluva lot more than a CAI, and a SS to even make a scratch in that.

            :ed:
