I really don't want to change my exhaust and I have heard that the rear wont fit on my TDI unless I do...

well the GLI has a single tip cutout... and TDI has down pointed tips.. so it would fit, but not look good right?

It will fit, just not look right thats all. Hell you can mock up a tip there but it won't do anything. Or you can take the opertunity to do a muflerectomy.

Yeh as I already dun told ju it will not look right at all. The exhaust outlet is meant for a single round tip....to make things work on your rear end I'd do a mufflerectomy and slap a round tip on the end of it.
Haven't really seen any pics of what it looks like messed up but picture a circle exhaust outlet with gay turn downs visible.

edit: Oh...you could also get the body shop to custom mod the GLI lip by filling the exhaust cut out area, you would be able to keep your turndowns that way.

Yeah single tip only. Dual tip would not even look proper. Spoke with Rudy's auto body and they said they could pretty much do anything mold, cut outs etc.

They were pretty nice to me except that the paint started to come off my bumper faster than refugees leaving New Orleans.

That slow? isn't that a good thing? Personally I have got alot of body work done there ($16K+ now) and I can say good and bad things about them.

Yea I had major paint cracking issues around my door locks as well as lots of chipping issues... It seemed whenever I would take a rock it would leave a divot the size of brooks alberta...

Overall they are really friendly and had a good price. They matched the color of my car really well. The car was in a few weeks longer than it was originally supposed to be...
