Curious to how much I would get??

Looking to maybe sell 2004 Jetta 1.8t. Has H&R Lowering springs (1.5inch drop), Autotech CAI, concept 1 short shifter, R line shift knob, Kamei honeycomb grill, Upsolute chip, Split second boost controller, Mcculloch HID conversions, Alpine I-VAD300 DVD deck, 006 diverter valve. Has longbeaches on them, and Michelin Pilots on them (about 65-70% tread left) Car has only 28000 KM on it and only been driven in 1 winter. Everything is in perfect condition. All parts only have about 10k on them.

Wondering how much I would get if I decided to sell it?

Used car value will be more or less the same most of the time. Depends on condition, you can ask more but not a lot. You should decide a fixed amount of money to let go on all together your aftermarket mods ex. $4,000 on top of the price.

No, not quite.

Take the price you would get for your Jetta (about $24,000, I think) and add about $500 to it for the mods, then reduce the number of potential buyers by 50% per mod that effects ride quality negatively.

In short, $24,500 and a long time to sell.

You should part out as much as you can, especially if you can get a good price for your mods and if they make the car seem very different from stock.

I think people are hesitant to buy a vehicle that has been lowered because it is more likely to have had the crap bagged out of it. I would defintiely remove as much as possible if you want more people to be interested.

You should definately try and part-out your mods. You will never get all the money back, but you'll definately get more than selling them with your car.

haha not out yet, just curious. Ya I did just start modding my car. But as school nears I will be out of Calgary for a good year back and forth on holidays and such. I won't need a car that badly. And as I am also wanting to save for like a IS 300 or something. Or even a new jetta Something along those lines. But school is gonna be taking away lots of driving time, so not much need for a car atm. But most likely will end up keeping it and modding it more

But thanks for all the heads up and the tips. If I part out it will be before the end of summer, so I guess if you guys need anything I got just look for my post. Thanks!

Hah ya thats true, like the alecantro and everything and the stock xenons. Just a fan of the IS not that I dont love jettas though .

Also the stock IS is pretty sweet rolling as well. Jettas are as well but way to common.

I priced one out at about $50,000 on the lexus.ca site...

More power to ya if you can affort it, but for 50k I would pick something else!
