Thanks, I hope that is a selling feature, not getting cheapest-tires-on-the-market or anything!

That is not an 8.5 in the rear, but they would still look killer and even pretty good on your GTI in the mean time!! Staggered is a bit better on a TT since it does have Quattro and I have not noticed much difference on my Dads car, but I have not had at the limit either. I guess my new RWD car will be best suited for some 8.5s in the rear

Good luck with the sale Kris!!

I would think that different sized wheels on an AWD car would be harder on the drivetrain (different resistances and turning speeds). But that could just be propaganda.

On an AWD it is overall diameter that is the main concern. I personally wouldn't do it, but as long as you match up the O.D.'s accurately, it won't hurt a thing because they will still turn at the same speed, BUT my feeling is that the fronts and rears are not going to wear at the same rate, and because you can't rotate your tires, you will end up with different O.D.'s front and rear fairly quickly, and unless you like to put on new tires every year, then this could cause some driveline issues...

Pics now posted. All 4 wheels each have their own pic, plus some closeups. They are in awesome shape, and after cleaning them I would say its more like 80% or MORE left on the rubber. You can still see the tiny "new tire nubs"!

What kind of 18's are you looking for? We could work something out for my RC's?!?! They have about the same amount of use, only a couple K, and they are super light (for you speed fix ). I was actually thinking of getting some 19's, so if you're interested.....PLEASE!!

The RC would definitely be light enough, but I don't think I am interested in an OEM wheel. Thanks for the offer though...

Thanks. I'm gonna try to be flexible on the price as much as I can to get these things to move, but if i'm not gonna be able to afford replacements then i'd better just keep em

Since I have had no SERIOUS, cash-in-hand offers, I am dropping my asking price to 2300 CAD, please help me sell my wheels... if you help me out, your next Boston Pizza meal is on me
