Anyhow, Pilot Alpins are really nice winter tires. I had a set on my Corrado and I'd reccomend them to anyone. This is a good price for some great tires!

I actually picked up a set of 16's in the Arctic Alpin variety last winter from Boosty. Solid tires. I had no problems ripping through our snowed in parking lot last winter. As well, I also appreciated the "small" lift that the tires gave my car. Nevertheless, when i run across some deep snow... i still grit my teeth when i hear that snow "plowing" sound. Aiiiieeee!!
Cheers All...

Seeing as the summer is drawing to a close, and people might be thinking about getting their winter set-up taken care of early, I thought I'd post this up.
I'm selling a set of Michelin Pilot Alpins size 225/45/17 for $500 firm. The tires were used briefly for two winters and are in excellent condition. There's at least 3 more seasons left on them.
I used these tires when I had my '01 GTi and mounted them to its Monte Carlos. So any of you folks running LB's or Montes, these would be perfect for you!
They've got fantastic dry road grip and absolutely amazing ice and snow grip. Plus they allow you to keep your 17" rims on throughout the winter so you can still be blingin'
PM me if you're interested.
Cheers,
Chris.
Bump for a good deal, I would take them except I already have Blizzaks on my 17's.
