  • For rent - fender rolling tool and kit

Tried of tires rubbing on fenders?
Then rent my fender rolling tool comes with heat gun so it is a full do it yourself kit.

Cost is $75.00 for two days of useage $50 for every addtional day. This is much better than what tunerworks or a body shop wants and you know it will be done right because you are doing it yourself!

Rubbing is for sucka's however if you don't need to use this tool you are not low enough and don't have wide enough wheels.

                OK, dumb question time...

How do you know if you're rubbing? If I have to ask this question, is it safe to say I'm not rubbing? I'm thinking I might add spacers to my 18x7.5, not sure if this will result in rubbing or not.

Well you are probably not rubbing and on the back of MK4s the inner fender lip does not stick out nearly as bad as on MK3s. Now I have my fenders rolled and still rub so I guess I am low enough

Yeah..You aint rubbin Well, not badly anyways, with the drop on your car and 7.5" wheels you shouldnt have an issue but if you space them out, you may notice a "creek" kinda noise when you hit bumps on the highway at decent speed

You'd be able to tell if you were rubbing, it doesnt sound like a happy time for your car

Off topic but, can you get airbag kits? Probably a dumb question but I figure it's probably a custom only type of job. Just curious 'cause truck kits are quite inexpensive considering what's involved.

I believe you can get kits they use fairly standard parts you just need to source the correct components for the car. The usually average about $2,000 for the parts. I have often considered making my way down to my neighbours house who always has a car on hydraulics (Currently a Olds Cutlass in Metallic Green with Gold wire wheels) and stuff and having a little chat with him

Here is a MK3 Jetta from Waterfest that is on air bags

wow, 2000 for parts, that's a fair bit, plus you'd have to do a fair bit of customizing. I've just always liked trucks with air bags, sit nice and low and they can still carry stuff.
