Hey all, thought I would try this here for a few days before braving the Kijiji people.
For sale is my Candy White 2007 Volkswagen GTI, 3 door, 6 speed manual with 165,000 km.
SOLD!!!
No trades or lowballs please.
I’ve owned this car since 2010, when I bought it with 56,000 km. The highlights are:
• 2.0 litre turbocharged engine (200 hp and 7.1 L/100km)
• 6 speed manual transmission
• Leather interior
• Sunroof
• Factory roof rack included: base carrier bars and ski/snowboard rack
• H&R sport springs (1.5 inch lowering)
• Major service completed in December (coils, plugs, injectors and valve de-carb) at a cost of $1300+
I recently (December 2017) had Tunedub replace the fuel injectors and perform a valve de-carbonization on the car. I also recently replaced the spark plugs and ignition coils.
Additional things I’ve had repaired are some rock chips and cosmetic issues on the front bumper, front fender, and hatch, plus new factory grille (old one was rock chipped and faded) and a new fog light. This work was done by Screamin Paintworks.
The only “issues”:
• A few dents, dings and scuffs from parking lots that you would expect from a car of this age/mileage
• A bit of a dodgy repair I did about 6 years ago to fix scrape from the P.O.
• Needs a new windshield
• The AC needs a recharge once a year, as there is likely a slow leak in the system – if you choose to charge it up in the spring, it’ll keep working through the fall. Should be repaired
Selling to free up some funds for my project car.
