Hey guys, I'm looking to sell as a whole (not part out) my 2003 GLI, has the 24v 2.8L VR6 in it but the engine is no bueno
. Copy pasted from the kijiji ad but with the ED discount. Anything below $1750 won't have the wood steering wheel (will be replaced with OEM 3 spoke leather).
Engine has coolant in oil (probably headgasket), still fires up, doesn't sound great. IT IS DRIVE-ABLE but unsure how far it will go. MAY REQUIRE TOWING
Car comes with a lot of great parts:
- Black OEM interior from 2004.5 GLI
- Woodgrain trim with matching OEM 3 spoke wood grain steering wheel (Rare)
- Black leather bucket seats (heated)
- A/C
- Cruise Control
- Power windows, locks, mirrors, sunroof (sliders for sunroof are broken and need replacing, still functions)
- OEM R32 front carpet floor mats, OEM rear carpet floor mats
- OEM trunk rubber cover
- Euroswitch (DRL disabled)
- OEM Monsoon sound system with iPod integration
- OEM 2004.5 GLI pedals
Exterior:
- Leather hoodbra
- OEM black sideview mirrors
- Clear side markers
- OEM Candy cane taillights
- OEM 2004.5 GLI front & rear valance & sideskirts (Drivers sideskirt is cracked)
-ECS black Stubby antenna
- Rock chips in windshield, no cracks though
- LED license plate lights
-Rust on the rocker panels of both driver and passenger side at the front wheel wells.
Engine / Transmission:
- K&N Cone filter with 3” billet aluminum MAF
- New battery in 2014
- Secondary Air injection delete with IE billet block-off plate
- 6 speed manual transmission with no gear issues at all
- 2.5” Magnaflo catback exhaust
- CTS Turbo billet aluminum short shifter, currently set at 35% reduction
- Audi R8 coolant and oil caps
Suspension & Wheels:
- FK Silverline coilovers in front and rear
- New brake rotors in 2014
- Winter tires mounted on steelies
- ABD 28mm rear sway bar
Some of the bad:
-Latch for armrest is broken, still closes but can become dislodged
-Sunroof cover was redone with leather vinyl. Will need to be redone.
-Bolster on drivers side seat is worn
-Soft-touch is worn on center console
-Leather is damaged in a couple spots on rear doorcard
-Trunk pop mechanism functions but won't pop (plastic piece broke off on one of those really cold winter days)
Recent Work:
- New serpentine belt and tensioner – July 2014
- Transmission flush at 250,000km - Dec 2014
- Sparkplugs changed at 240,000KM - April 2015
- New Upper strut bushings – May 2015
- New front brake lines – July 2015
- TT control arm bushings at 240,000KM – Aug 2015
- Tie Rod ends at 240,000KM – Aug 2015
- New Driver side CV axle at 240,000KM – Aug 2015
- Alignment at 240,000KM – Aug 2015
- New rear brake pads at 250,000km – Oct 2015
- New Front wheel speed sensors at 250,000km – Oct 2015
- New passenger side outer CV boot at 250,000km – Oct 2015
- AC clutch replaced at 260,000km
• Comes with 4 spare OEM coil packs (New)
