(DISCLAMER) a strut assembly stud has snapped, this will be replace and repaired before the car is sold.
The time has come to sell my beloved S4. this is the historic model with the iconic inline 5 cyl turbo.
car is in great shape all around.
Exterior 7/10, has some small paint chips, nothing bigger than a dime. still has a very high shine. was clay bared and polished a month ago. come with oem Euro headlight glass as well.
interior 9/10 , this is normally the rough spot in these cars as there are often abused. but this one is a rare gem. oem recaro seats, still in great shape. no rips or tears and only slight wear in the Dvr seat. all switches work and all lights. interior lights have been upgraded to LED lights. including the trunk as well. has aftermarket JVC head unit that blends in perfectly.
Engine 9/10, this motor will go on forever. I've done very little other then regular maintenance and service. always used syn oil either 5w50 Castrol or 5w40 rotella t6, and that was changed every 5k km. has upgraded silicone boost hoses and silicone vacuum lines as well. engine is running a chipped ECU as well. provides nice power and increased fuel economy when oh the hyw. ive seen 9.4l per 100k with this car.
Suspension 9/10, again this is one of the neglected parts of these cars, however the suspension was redone less then a month ago. all new blistein struts new rear springs and new strut bearings, new tie rods and new rear track arms. car is extremely tight and handles well. feel just as nice as my wifes new MK7 GTI.
Transmission , 10/10 this is again another great part of this car, its a 5 speed manual with stock clutch. clutch has zero slippage and gust grips and goes. I have installed a upgraged short shift kit which improves the shift through quite a lot over the stock shifter.
Wheel and tires 6/10 I rate this a bit lower only because the wheels stock wheels, 16x8. they look great on this car and took me 3 years to find them. they are not perfect. have some dings but are straight non the less. they have TOYO summer tires on them with about 50% left.
exhaust 10/10 I've recently changed from the side exhaust in the pictures, to a 3 inch exhaust with mangaflow muffler. the car is nice at idle and really wakes up when under throttle. no drone on the hwy either. best of bot worlds.
Brakes 8/10 all brakes were replaced just last year with new calipers on the rear and new stainless steel brake lines with all new HAWK pads. stops on a dime now.
I have a few extra parts for the car as well, oil filters and air filters ect. that will come with the sale.
These cars are becoming extremely rare and even more rare in this condition.

I've listed it at 8k, of course ill offer it lower to ED members. really want this to go to a good home. I did have an offer last year at 7k, which I turned down only because I could not get a car to replace it in time. this time I'm more motivated to sell.
