I love this car and it has been a blast through every stage of its build but it's time for something different
I've owned this car for over 8 years now. It started its life as a full load 16v gli. Since owning it I have swapped 2 16v's into it and now it's running a big turbo 1.8t. The body has been converted from small bumpers to big bumpers with 16v flares. The wiring system has been upgraded from ce1 to the newer ce2 wiring. It has a sunroof and power windows. The interior consists of a mk3 dash swap, Recaro srd knock offs and a Jetta flair interior. It has a momo wheel with nrg quick release and an alpine iPod deck. The motor is an awd 1.8t block with a fresh rebuild and integrated engineering rods and arp fasteners as well as the two piece hybrid oil pan. The head is off a awm 1.8t. It has rc 750cc injectors, monster 007 intake manifold, 85mm throttle body, custom ceramic coated equal length exhaust manifold, tial 38mm external wastegate with screamer pipe, and bolted to all this shiny goodness is a garret gt32 journal bearing turbo with a .58 a/r hot side for quick spooling. I put 2.5 inch boost piping on it from the turbo to the intake and it has a full stainless exhaust comprised of a 2.5 downpipe to a 3 inch exhaust system with 3 v-band couplers throughout for easy removal. I just replaced the valvecover gasket, spark plugs (ngk bk7re) and upgraded to 2.0t coilpacks, as well as dropped and resealed the oilpan. All this mechanical wizardry is managed by a megasquirt ms2 with rpm based boost control, launch control and no lift shift capabilities (all this just needs to be hooked up and dailed in). The fueling system is completely one off from the 17 gallon cell in the trunk through the dual walboro 255 pumps to the custom surge tank. All fuel lines are 1/2 inch braided fuel lines. The Power and there is lots of it is sent to the wheels through a syncro awd system from a 93 Passat, with KW variant 3's at all four corners. The wheels are wagenwheels cs1's in 16x8 with Achilles sport tires
It dyno'd at 297 wheel horsepower and 268 ft/lbs of torque last August at 12psi. Since then has maybe seen 500km's on the road
Asking $15000, car is located 30 minutes south of Calgary Alberta
This passed spring I replaced all the gaskets past the exhaust manifold, turbo oil drain line, new rear calipers and ebrake cables, as well as relocated the battery to the trunk. I have a spare rear beam for rebuild that I will include with the car as well as an AEG 2.0 that I was going to use the crank from for a stroker build.

The only major issues I have had with the car is coilpacks failing, I have a stock set of 1.8t coils to throw into it and a roll of titanium heat wrap to prevent this issue from continuing, just haven't had the time to pull the downpipe to install yet.

I have over $23000 invested in this in the motor and drivetrain alone low ballers will not be entertained. I love this car, it's an absolute blast to drive, but it's time for something new. Will consider trades for an Audi 90 coupe or E30 BMW of equal value or cash on your end

I'm sure there are parts that I have forgotten to list, but anyone who has seen it or gone for a ride in it will agree the price I am asking is fair

I guess I forgot to mention in the original post that I had the screamer pipe plumbed back into the exhaust and a 3 inch magnaflow resonanter added. Since plumbing the wastegate back in the car has picked up a large amount of torque since it saw the dyno. And with the new gaskets in the exhaust system full boost hits by 3500 rpm. The car is an absolute riot to drive and sounds amazing

Sad to see this go, man! To anyone looking, this car is clean and the owner is a good dude. Hopefully the next project is just as gnarly! I got a line on some decent e30s if you get er sold.

I'm really itching to build a s2 clone, already found a couple coupe Quattro's I'm interested in. Just need to free up the cash and garage space
