  • 2007 Audi RS4 - Misano Red

    here we go...

    so i just recently found out I got accepted into the program i wanted for school and am going to be extending my student life by a few more years. I have also recently decided to travel Europe with a bunch of friends in about a month. I am going to be selling my beloved RS4 in hopes of securing my tuition and expenses for the extended schooling and travelling coming up. this is a tough call for me, especially because i have always wanted this car and now i finally have it. but no doubt in my mind i will have another one in the future.

    here is everything i could think of about my car:

    - FCP Euro front upper control arms
    - 034 motorsports Density line street transmission mount
    - 034 motorsports differential inserts
    - ECS tuning rear differential mount
    - K&N high flow air filter
    - Brembo 2 piece cross-drilled front rotors (OEM)
    - TRW brake pads (OEM)
    - 10mm H&R hubcentric/wheelcentric spacers in front
    - 15mm ECS tuning hubcentric/wheelcentric spacers in rear
    - ECS tuning steel brake lines
    - OEM Audi rear rotors
    - OEM Audi brake pads
    - ATE super blue DOT 4 brake fluid
    - Ziza LED license plate conversion assemblies
    - Magnaflow 2.5” X-pipe. Works with stock exhaust valves via the S button.
    - OEM fuel filter
    - Full decarb of engine at Glenmore Audi along with new:
    o OEM intake manifold
    o OEM fuel injectors with gaskets and rings
    o PCV valve
    - Transmission serviced with Motul 300 full synthetic gear oil
    - Engine oil service with OEM filter and Motul Xcess full synthetic

    14,000 km (Glenmore Audi):
    Faulty rear rotors and brake pads replaced
    Faulty/warped front rotors replaced

    23,374 km (Glenmore Audi):
    Completed 25,000 km service at. Oil service, filters, system inspections etc
    Installed new winter mats
    Replaced loose/faulty left side mirror housing and entire mirror base with new parts

    30,199 km (Glenmore Audi):
    Performed 40,000 km service. New oil, filters, lubing joints, toping up all fluids and all system inspections. Done at Glenmore Audi.
    Wheel alignment done
    Serviced driver’s side window motor and window seal

    31,322 km (Glenmore Audi) :
    Installed new OEM front bumper

    37,711 km (Glenmore Audi):
    Re-aimed headlights as they were aimed too low
    Mounted and balanced winter tires
    Serviced engine with new oil and filter
    Replaced wiper blades

    42,624 km (Glenmore Audi):
    Performed 55,000 kms service. New oil, fluids, all system inspections completed.
    Replaced drivers side fog light assembly
    Inspected wheel bearings

    55,555 km (Glenmore Audi):
    Performed recall 53b3. Battery tray.
    Rebalanced and mounted new tires
    Dynamic ride control recall performed. All suspension components replaced with new updated ones as per Audi recall.
    Ignition coils recall performed. Replaced coils with new updated ones.
    Performed 70,000 km service. Replaced oil/filter and all other fluids. Inspection of all systems.

    60,457 km (Glenmore Audi) :
    Replaced engine oil/filter. Topped up all fluids.
    Mounted and balanced summer tires
    Performed 4 wheel alignment
    Flushed brake system and drained excess fluid

    69,867 km (Glenmore Audi):
    Performed 85,000 km service. New oil/filter. Check/replaced all fluids and inspected all systems. Adjusted headlight system. Replaced pollen/air filters
    Replaced spark plugs
    Replaced wipers and pivots. Cleaned and aimed jets
    Mounted and balanced wheels
    Performed 4 wheel alignment
    Removed and replaced right outer tie rod end

    76,494 km (Glenmore Audi):
    Replaced engine oil/filter
    Replaced battery
    Mounted and balanced tires on 19” wheels

    80,463 km (Glenmore Audi):
    Mounted and balanced new tires
    Performed wheel alignment

    85,207 km (Glenmore Audi):
    Installed winter tires. Balanced.
    Replaced engine oil/filter

    98,352 km (Glenmore Audi):
    Performed 100,000 km service. New oil/filter. Replaced filters as needed. Topped up all fluids and inspected all vehicle systems.
    Installed and balanced summer tires

    103918 km (Glenmore Audi):
    General maintenance/inspection. New rear brakes needed. Front brakes at 30%
    Mounted and balanced summer tires

    111,114 km (Glenmore Audi):
    Performed 115,000 km service. Replaced all filters. Replaced oil. Inspected all systems and topped all fluids. Inspected ribbed belt and timing tensioners and pulleys
    Replaced rear brake pads and rotors

    111,150 km (Glenmore Audi):
    Found big slash on front tire. Replaced all 4 tires with new summers

    113,697 km (Glenmore Audi):
    Inspected intake manifold. Excessive carbon build up
    Replaced intake manifold and gaskets
    Replaced fuel injectors
    De-carbd engine and manifold area
    Replaced hoses with updates versions
    Replaced leaking PCV valve

    117,000 km (Garage Box):
    Replaced engine oil and filter with Motul Xcess
    Replaced transmission fluid with Motul gear oil 300
    Balanced and installed winter tires

    119,000 km (Minute muffler 32 ave):
    Installed Magnaflow X pipe

    121,000 km (Real Auto Pros):
    Replaced engine oil with Motul Xcess
    Replaced front brakes with brembo front rotors and pads with new steel brake lines with race grade fluid.
    Replaced front upper control arms. Inspected lower control arms and tie rod assemblies. OK.
    Replaced seized steering knuckle assemblies
    Installed performance transmission mount
    Installed performance differential mount
    Installed performance differential inserts to stiffen up bushings
    Balanced and Installed Toyo Proxes T1 summer tires

    121,500 km (Eurospec) :
    4 wheel alignment and adjustment after control arms installed.

    122,000 km (Real Auto Pros):
    Replaced fuel filter
    Installed K&N high flow air filter
    Installed LED license plate assemblies

    122,500 km (Calgary autoworks):
    Wheels balanced on summer tires
    Inspected rotors and pads for deposits

    123,000 km:
    Installed carbon charcoal activated cabin air filter
    Installed H&R 10mm spacers in front
    Installed ECS tuning 15mm spacers in back

    currently at 124,000 km

    Other things to know:
    Car had the front bumper resprayed and now has Suntek film installed on it
    The third gear occasionally had a small grind when shifting really quickly under hard acceleration but after swapping to Motul 300 gear oil; this issue has not surfaced since.
    A recent 2 stage polish/cut compound was applied and the paint was then sealed. Frequent applications of Collonite 845 wax thereafter.
    Interior leather was treated and cleaned recently
    The car has some decently heavy tint on the windows.
    Comes with 1 set of Audi rubber winter mats and 2 sets of summer mats
    I have records and receipts for all parts/services on this car and can provide contacts for all mechanics who worked on it and the previous owner.

    Must have been a tough decision, but you've got your priorities straight! Some things need to come first before cars (although the list is very short!). You'll be back in an RS4 before you know it.

        I'm guessing you took possession of the car somewhere between 113,697 and 117,000 kms?
