Hey all,
Love this car but looking to get something I don't need full coverage on so my 20-year-old-with-a-mk6-GTI insurance rate will stop emptying my bank account. Runs like a top, a few very minor things could be fixed but don't really affect anything (read below)
Anyways, my car is a 2011 GTI with a DSG gearbox.
The good:
-Just underwent a complete respray, all fenders were rolled for the aggressive fitment of my Rotiforms, the outside of the car is damn near immaculate. 10/10 body.
-colour matched valences, side skirts, inner bumper, exhaust tips etc.. Must see in person
-interior is also quite minty, small scratches on the leather etc.. 8.5/10
-Fully loaded (leather interior, tech package, nav, heated seats, mirrors, etc..)
-DSG service/hot engine flush @ 176000km at TuneDub
-have all service records since new, always dealer serviced until I owned it and since then it's only been worked on by TuneDub and myself
-3" catless downpipe
-concept 1 coilovers (not nice coils really but less than a year old and the ride is actually not bad)
-18x8.5/18x9.5 rotiform NUE wheels painted straight white with 225/40/18 Westlake sv308 tires.
- 17" white steelies with Champiro GT winter tires
-base bars
-DSG paddle extensions
-Cherry tails
The bad:
-leveling sensor is on the frittz and throws a code ($200 sensor priced out at Tunedub)
-CEL due to catless downpipe (too lazy to install o2 spacers and/or too poor to tune)
Looking to get $17.5k with both sets of wheels, or $16k with just winters.

bump, kind of want to get back in a MK4 or an Audi... Someone buy this...
