Hi, was keeping this for a project but no longer have time for it. I have an entire swap from a 2003 US spec GTI with the 24valve 2.8L vr6 and 6speed transmission. Everything needed to swap this is included, wiring harness, ecu, pedals, MAF, etc. The only thing missing is an oxygen sensor which is easy to source.
The swap has roughly 240,000km on it and ran well/shifted good when pulled. The reason it was pulled was because of a rod knock developing on cylinder #2. "Apparently" the clutch and timing chains were done at vw so it should have all new bits in there when rebuilding the engine. The engine most likely just needs a bottom end rebuild, head should be in good shape.
