  • FS: 1999 Toyota 4Runner SR5

My brother is selling his truck, thought i'd help him out.
Its in brooks, but he's in calgary all the time so checking it out should be pretty easy to setup. we checked out a ton before he picked up this one and it by far the best shape one we looked at.

let me know if you have any questions and i'll try to reply quickly.

Body is clean and with the exception of a couple of tiny little spots, rust free. I believe the front quarter panel was replaced before I bought it, hence the slightly off paint. It really isn't noticiable when your driving around.

Only 249000km, which is pretty darn low for a 16 year old 4runner. It has the 3.4l v6 engine which is basically bombproof. Parts are pretty cheap and they are easy to work. No leaks or drips!

Mods done prior to me purchasing last summer:

    - ARB bumper (brand new)
    - Budbuilt sliders (need to be repainted/coated)
    - 2-3" Toytec/Bilstein (front), Toytec/TJM XGS Gold struts (rear)
    - 16" SCS F-5 wheels w/ 285/75r16 BFG AT/KO's (brand new)
    - 1.25" wheel spacers
    - Front diff drop
    - pan hard drop
    - Bushwhacker fender flares
    - Lightforce lights
    - lots of lights converted to LED (not all)
    - nav/stereo/
    - remote starter

Work that's been done since I bought it:

    - parking brake cable replaced
    - rear passenger axle seal replaced
    - cv axles replaced
    - shift solenoids replaced
    - windshield replaced (new one has a small crack in the bottom)
    - 1/3/5 injectors and fuel rail replaced
    - new battery
    - new tranmission installed this week with 90 day warranty (parts, not labour)

Asking $8600, but am open to reasonable offers or trades. I'm not in any rush to sell, so no crazy lowballs.

If it's the same 3.4L V6 as the Asian Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, then heck yeah that engine is amazing. My dad has a 1997 Land Cruiser Prado in Dubai with 200,000km on it. Bought it in 2000. Still runs like a champ! GLWS to your brother!
