dude your spot on for 19's. I had the same issue on the passat, hence dropping down to 18's. Sides and a front lip would solve your issue and I like nicks idea.

Have you considered removing the mudflaps? Visually they drop much lower than the lower body giving the illusion of the car being higher that it is. That and and a camber adjustment to go a tad lower may do the trick.

Hey Danny, can you not camber in the wheels a bit to get the car lower and not rub? I had 19x10's on my avant and the car was really low. It never rubbed! I think it was set at -2.8 degrees or something.

i definitely thought i would be able to do that, but I'm sitting at 3 degrees in the back and it won't slip under the fender.

if the wheels don't sell i will definitely look at doing that.

hmm i never thought of that. ill pull them tomorrow and see how it looks. but its still a no go for the camber.
