  • '00 Alpine White M5 (Feeler, car located in Miami)

    Hello All,

I'm just wondering how much interest there would be (if any), in a rust and accident free M5.

    - 125k miles
    - Clean Autocheck, showing no accidents and ownership in Austin, TX for most of its life. Now in Miami, FL.
    - STACK of maintenance records from BMW of Austin. I have receipts from Braman BMW and ECS Tuning for what I've done since I purchased it.
    - Alpine White on Black "ostrich stretch" leather
    - Extended leather
    - New bumper (PO's wife had a low-speed disagreement with a concrete island at a gas station)
    - Fresh clear-coat
    - Technical Graphite interior trim
    - VANOS inspected and rebuilt by Dr. Beemer 3k miles ago
    - New Parts:
Bridgestone Pole Position tires (3k miles)
Front & rear door seals on body
    Fuel Filter
    Oil Thermal level sensor
    Struts for hood & trunk
E60 SSK and ECS shifter rebuild kit
    Blacked out front grills
    New ///M Floor Mats

I am wondering if anyone would be interested in bringing the car to Canada, or in buying it if I brought it to Canada.

Without pictures... pretty sure nobody is interested. Post some up!

So you found an M5 on Craigslist and are wondering if you can make a quick buck on it?

Not trying to make a quick buck at all, actually.

When I started looking for an E39, the one I really wanted had just sold (http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/car...ded-clean.html). The same car recently came back up for sale, and I would like to sell mine and purchase this one (http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/car...-m5-imola.html).

        As requested, pictures:

I'll only sell it if I can work out a deal with the seller of the other car. It took quite some time to find a reasonably-priced E39 in this mechanical condition and in a non-standard colour (most are black or silver, with either the luxury interior or the two-tone black & grey interior... neither of which I like).

Not looking to unload something that isn't great... just putting feelers out to pass on this great car if an even greater one lines up.
