I am selling my 2003 GTI as a project because my clutch went and I cant afford to get it fixed. It was a great reliable car until this happened. I am thinking it is the bearing that went. It was making a strange almost rattly noise and finally went. Will not go into gear and stalls out when the clutch pedal is released after starting (even in Neutral). Not sure what else it could be but i figure someone on here would definitely know and want a great base project car.
