Year: 1998
Make: Toyota
Model: 4Runner
Trim: Limited
Engine: 3.4L 5VZ-FE V6
Transmission: 4-speed automatic
Drivetrain: 4WD
Mileage: 315xxx km
Price: $5000
Selling my 1998 4Runner Limited V6. It has been very reliable and should continue to be for the new owner. This generation of 4Runner is one of the most reliable vehicles ever built. It shouldn't require any major maintenance for a couple years at least. Timing belt should be good for another 55,000km. The 4-wheel drive works perfectly, always engages and disengages as it should. Can also run in 2-wheel drive. It has both high and low ranges, as well as a locking rear differential. Goodyear Wrangler tires have lots of tread left.
It's in good condition overall for it's age - none of the major rust issues that is common on this generation for 4Runner, just a few small spots around the wheel wells. Quite a few rock chips on the front end, but that's to be expected on a 16 year old car with 315k. Windshield has 3 rock chips that could easily be repaired, no cracks. Headlight housings were replaced in the fall, as the old ones were in rough shape. Lenses are in very good condition on these. Driver's seat has quite a bit of wear, but it is still very comfortable and supportive - the rest of the interior is in good condition.
Fully loaded Limited model that includes power leather seats, power sunroof, power locks, power windows, and power window on the rear hatch. Both the window on the hatch and the rear wiper work - these can sometimes be problematic on these cars. The only little issue it has is the power lock on the drivers door doesn't work, but I've read that it's a fairly easy fix. Everything else on the car works perfectly.
Please PM me with any questions and for my contact information. I'll have more pictures coming later.
