    Hey guys I am likely to partout my mk1 cabrio aba swap project, I am not sure whether I can finish the project before I leave for university this summer , I'll see how much interest the major components get by the end of next week to decide whether I'll part it or not.
    All prices are firm because most of the parts have never been used
    $200firm mk1 8v raceland header kit can be used for aba swap

    $150firm Freshly painted white OEM snowflakes

    $250obo 90% new nexen classe premiere all season 185/60/14 82H

    $100firm Scirocco from brake swap 80%life rotors and pads with calipers

    $20firm mint mk1 black dash

    $200firm mint scirocco front black leather seats, refurbished.

    $40obo late model mk1 cabby white leather rear seats, puffy, no rips cracks or tears, needs a good clean.

    $250firm brand new vinyl cabrio roof mounted and seals on frame assmebly.

    $400obo 140000km aba swap with everything you need(starter, fuse box, ecu, wiring, starter, alternator, 5speed mk1 tranny with brand new flywheel and pressure plate, mk2 instrument cluster, and electronic speed sensor) mounted in a mint mk1 cabby shell with various interior pieces.

      I might be interested in the brake swap. Do you have the pressure regulator for the rear brakes that is needed too?

        Cabrios have the regulators bolted right into the master cylinder.

          Not the one needed for rear disk if I have ever read correctly. They all came with drums.

            Sorry Brent,

            What I meant is that theres no prop valve on the rear beam on cabrios like there is on all other MK1's and MK2's. They have individual flow regulator valves bolted right between the outlet on the master cylinder and the hard line leading to the rear brakes. In order to change this you need to either replace the current valves or run the hard lines right to the MC and add the appropriate prop valve on the rear beam from a 16v Scirocco. That is, if you find that the rear brakes are locking up before the fronts with the stock valves.

              The proportional valves are needed either way. They end up locking up in slipper conditions leading to bad results. I have seen swaps with either the front of rear swapped out before.
