!!!SOLD!!!
2000 Audi S4 TIP - ~198,000km's
Custom Porsche Grau Schwarz respray (just completed) w/ sport interior (leather/silver alcantara)
Satin roof, mirrors, and rims
Full VAST stage 3 setup (K04's) complete with TIP chip, upgraded valve body and torque converter completed at ~160k
Engine teardown and refresh with ALL gaskets, seals, etc., including full timing job done at ~160k
Full front control arm replacement w/ HD tie rod ends done at ~180k
All new wheel bearings done at ~170k
JHM solid front axles done at ~175k
New tires this summer, less than 1k on them
Plus a million and 1 other items that have been upgraded, contact me for details
The bad:
Needs a new clockspring, currently looking for one and will be included or fixed prior to sale
Will need a new windshield soon. It only has 1 crack in it at the very bottom left corner but things like that bug me...
Already has rock chips in the bumper/hood from an idiot gravel truck 3 days after I painted it , respray could be worked into the deal
May need a new power steering rack which will be included in the sale. Thought I had a leak so I bought a new one and then the leak went away...go figure
Coilovers are still in good shape but could probably use replacing at some point, currently have ~70k on them
The good:
Immaculate condition (other than said rock chips) - anyone who knows me can vouch for how anal I am with my cars
Stage 3 setup has been absolutely flawless since day 1. It peaks around 23psi and pulls strong all day...never had a single leak, boost issue, etc., since the work was completed
It's a TIP - why is this in 'the good' section? Because I have not had one single issue with the tranny and it is very enjoyable to drive. Has never shown any signs of stress during stage 3
As I said, anyone who knows me knows my cars and the condition I keep them in. Anytime something has needed repair or replacing it gets dealt with. This has been a summer only car for the last 4 years and has been a blast to drive. Yes, it's a TIP...if you don't like it don't bother making a comment, I've heard them all. I chose to Stage 3 a TIP because it was my daily driver at the time and I was constantly in traffic...I had enough of the clutch pedal in my GLI so I modded the S4. It is a perfect daily driver with more than enough power and has been extremely reliable. I think S4's get a bad rap because people don't take care of them. I have done oil changes and routine maintenance since going Stage 3...THAT'S IT!
Like most S4 owners, I have an excel sheet full of upgrade expenses that would make a grown man cry that I will gladly share with potential buyers. Let's just say that for the asking price you are getting a good deal lol.
Here is one terrible picture of the paint (I'll get more with my Nikon tonight).
Contact me if you are seriously interested...TIA
