  • FS: 12V VR6 Longblock 3.0L low comp

Just like the title says OBD1 VR6 block and head (distro) can be converted to coilpack

    JE pistons PN: 186235
    all new rings (JE)
    bearings
    waterpump
    crackpipe OEM
you name it it is new
    All ARP hardware.

Disributor is broken (shipping error on my part) I was planning to convert to coilpack anyways.

Head is BRAND NEW not a reman but brand new.

Engine has ZERO kms on it so will need a break in period.

This engine was built for boost there is a Turbo and manifold pictured but DOES NOT come with the engine unless customer wants to pay more.

According to the original architect of the build the engine should be good for 500-700 hp reliably.

Asking $4000 without turbo and manifold
Over 6k into the build my loss is your gain.

If you want the SPA manifold (ceramic coated) and the Precision HP6262 ported housing turbo and 39mm wastegate add an extra 1500. (all is brand new and can include the boxes for the turbo and wastegate)

    Onto pics!!

ob1 vs ob2, you would need to swap a crap load of stuff to make it work....

Thats the lowest price you will see it at. Eurospec sells this identical engine with slightly lower compression for $5,995. Also no ARP hardware on Eurospec engines or waterpump or oil flange.

I hate to get rid of it but I now have no cars to put it in ( maybe the Avant )

Not true, converting from OBD1 to OBD2 is wiring specific and throttle body, thats it AFAIK. you could run this in anything VW makes OBD1 or 2 it wont really matter as long as you have the wiring harness and the proper throttle body for the harness you are good to go!!

As for the Coil pack conversion you need the cam sensor and the coilpack and the coilpack timing cover thats it. Easy swap over.

            Thanks for looking guys!!

Its very tempting! But i would need so much more supporting things for this to even be possible.
