  • FS/FT: 2004.5 Jetta GLI

Found a potential replacement car that might not be around for long so offer away guys!

    2004.5 BMP Jetta GLI
    97000 miles
    1.8t with a 6 speed
OEM Recaro interior with brushed aluminum trim and black headliner (comes with oem carpet floormats for summer and monster mats for winter)
OEM BBS RC wheels (one has a bend, balanced out fine and makes no noise or vibration, and I do have all four center caps)
OEM Big brakes (front rotors have been replaced with drilled)
    GLI sport suspension
GLI valences (I had the front replaced with an oem euro 4-motion lip, as the previous owner had a crappy fiberglass rep lip on it)
    Front mount intercooler
    HKS ssqv bov
    APR turbo inlet pipe
    Neuspeed tune
    Neuspeed intake
    ECS tuning strut bar
Whiteline front swaybar (goes under the axle)
    Full turbo back exhaust
OEM quality Hella Magic Color tails
Winter tires mounted currently with good tread, I could give you the yoko summer tires I have, but they are pretty much worn out.

Maintenance wise it has been great, requiring just the normal things. Timing belt, cam and crank seals, tensioner and idler all done by Tunedub at 62000 miles. The brakes were also replaced near the timing belts mileage. Since then its had a trans flush, thermostat and cts with a coolant flush, left abs sensor, large rad fan, one wheel bearing and regular oil changes. Always used OEM quality parts, 5w40 synthetic amsoil and oem oil filters, and always VW appropriate replacement fluids.

Currently has the abs light on due to a stretched wire in the harness, and the AC does not work. However both of these issues will be fixed prior to the sale, i'm just trying to find time between school and work to diagnose whether or not its the FCM for the AC issue. It is fully charged and was blowing cold up until the start of winter. Obviously no extra cost for this, just letting it be known. The car also has some rock chipping on the front end, and a couple dings and scrapes. Nothing excessive, its in great shape for being damn near 10 years old.

9500$. Offer away, the worst I will say is no.

Isn't this the car i test drove before purchasing my GLI?

I know how much you bought it for and what was wrong with it when i got it inspected, what have you replaced since you took ownership to justify the price?

I just looked back on your post when I first bought it, and it did have some of the issues you stated. However much of what you had thought was wrong, was not. I have fixed everything that was needed and have a list up top with most of what has been replaced. I have a stack of receipts for maintenance and I also had some things repainted recently, all of which total to more than enough to justify my price. If you are not interested in buying the car, please refrain from posting.
