Regretfully, I have decided to put my 16v GTI for sale. Please understand that the car is not for sale because I need the money, nor is it for sale because it needs work. It is for sale simply because I do not drive the car as often as I would like. I have much more into the car than the asking price and I am in no rush to sell. The car was originally from BC and all the parts I have replaced have no more than 10,000 km, and some have no more than 1000 km. Current mileage is approx at 144,000 Km.
The car is almost stock, with minor suspension and exhaust modifications:
Ksport coilover suspension - installed 6000 km ago
Solid front motor mount - installed 6000km ago
Eurosport Lightened flywheel - installed 6000 km ago
K&N air filter
Raceland Stainless Steel Header - installed 4000 km ago
Techtonics Tuning Stainless Steel Exhaust, 2.25" with Magnaflow High flow Cat and Stainless Borla Exhaust - installed 4000 km ago
16x9 Schmidt Modern-Line with Kumho 205/40/16 tires
Original 15x6.5 BBS RM wheels and tires are included but they are not shown in the pictures.
This is the list of factory parts that I replaced:
Timing Belt and Tensioner
Brake fluid flush
Power steering fluid flush
Coolant flush
Valve cover gasket
Oil pan gasket
Reverse switch
Spark plugs
Replaced distributor and timing was set
Clutch, flywheel and clutch cable
Rear Main Seal
Front motor mount, transmission mount
Main fuel pump
In-tank fuel pump
Redline transmission fluid
Drive belts
Ball joints
Control arms and bushings
Sway bar bushings/mounts
Sandblasted and painted subframe
New control arm bolts and whatever bolts I could purchase new for the front end
New front disc rotors, bolts, boot, etc
4 Wheel alignment
Accelerator cable
New VW battery
Gear shift bushings and Mk3 weighted rod.
New OEM rear 16v badge
The previous owner also replaced many parts on the car prior to when I purchased it; receipts are included.
I am asking $12,900. This includes both sets of wheels: Schmidts and the original BBS RM's. Do not waste your time and mine with ridiculous offers as I will not reply.
