        I'm still pissed at my insurance company... if it weren't for them, it would be in my garage right now!!!

          Whats the story with that? what were they quoting you? cant you try another company for a new quote? do you have to say its turbod?

            Long story. My insurance company quoted me just under $6000/year. The other two I got were $6800 and $8500

              That's insane, mine is less than 3k/yr for both of my cars!

              Also, deposit has been received for the car!

                Did you tell them it was modded? Cause the only time i see rates like that is when we broker out for high risk people. aka people with modded cars, DUI's or a ton of tickets.

                    That's why I drive a mk4 with plpd insurance and fire/theft. Im 19 and I have been paying 1400/year since I was 16 with no accidents or speeding tickets. Not worth it to buy a new/high performance car when your younger.

                      Actually, I only told my current insurance co about the turbo and that one was the last expensive. I'll probably hold out for a low mileage NA R32 from the states or something older as a project. Maybe a MK2 GTI 16v or E24
