Yep...about 10mm off from what you need I believe. More then welcome for a test fit though.

Yeah, minimum is 40 and that's pushing it already.

spacers would make it worse, go in the wrong direction for a mk6

From what I understand, spacers fill in the gap so technically, the offset would become smaller.

fill in the gap?
on your mk6 you would want roughly a +45ish offset, the volk are a +35, would already stick out 10mm further, if you were to install a 10mm spacer, it would stick the wheel out even further and turn it into a +25mm offset. higher offset #, the further IN the wheel sits, lower the offset#, the further OUT it sits.

I think et 35 is not really a massive problem on a MK6 but in combination with that tire size of 235 you will then have a problem, would need more like a 215.
