Your not worried about bending/breaking rods? Assuming it's a stock bottom end
I'm not making over 350hp so the rods will hold. I'm pretty positive the stock rods are good for up to 400hp. And also the torque curve is not aggressive enough to start bending rods.

2012 E63 AMG biturbo - 550hp 590trq. Stock....for now
Oh jeez. Rods are only good up to about 300wtq, you are probably very very close to their limit unless you have a custom tune that doesn't bring on full boost til 3500rpm or later. HP has nothing to do with connecting rod holding power (besides the fact that is related to torque via rpms).
EDIT: So just read your signature, you are making over 300wtq, i would highly highly highly recommend rods, especially with a tune that brings out the turbo's full potential....

the custom tune allows me to do anything and it has been tuned to run with stock rods. the car is tuned to run safely with what it has without any issues

boost onset is the name of the game... as long as he isnt getting a spike in the early RPM they should hold.... that being said it does make for a "laggier" setup
